Choose the subject, method and frame
Open the generator and select the image option. Choose an existing character or a new image before writing instructions, so the brief fits the subject you intend to show.
- Select your character or new-image starting point.
- Choose parameter controls or a text prompt, depending on how you want to describe the picture.
- Select portrait, landscape or square framing. Decide what needs to remain visible near the edges.
- Review the requested image count and the token charge shown before submitting.
- Use the Generate Image control when the brief and charge match what you intend. Review any result before requesting another.
Describe a picture rather than an entire plot
A practical brief identifies the subject, setting, composition and a few visual details. For example: A fictional 30-year-old cartographer in a blue coat, standing beside a wooden map cabinet, waist-up portrait, even window light, quiet expression.
For an anime or cartoon direction, describe that look deliberately rather than mixing several incompatible treatments. If the character is already selected, focus the new instructions on the scene instead of replacing every defining feature. A jacket color, a location and a framing choice can be enough to give the image a purpose.
- For a portrait, prioritize the expression and the amount of the figure visible.
- For a setting, explain what the surroundings contribute instead of filling every corner with objects.
- For a later animation, decide which action you might want before choosing a tightly cropped pose.
Check the result before spending on variations
Inspect the face, clothing, hands, object placement and composition. If you request another version, choose one change you can name, such as showing more of the cabinet. Our advice is to keep a short note of the brief so you know which wording you want to revise.
Look for the result in Recent Generations. Use the image filter and check whether My or Everyone is selected before assuming a request is missing. Review an output's visibility before sharing it; a view label alone is not a privacy setting.
The plan comparison lists image generation at 2 tokens. Check the actual request total, especially when selecting more than one image. A subscription's message allowance does not make image requests unlimited.
Questions
What is the DarLink AI image generator?
It is the image-creation tool for an existing DarLink character or a new visual idea. Choose a subject, describe the scene through parameters or a text prompt, select the framing and review the generation charge before starting.
Can I generate an image of an existing DarLink character?
Yes. Choose the existing-character option, select your companion and describe the setting. Keep the new instructions focused on the picture you want rather than replacing the subject's defining features.
Do I have to write a text prompt?
The interface also offers parameter-based generation. A text prompt is useful when you want to express a particular scene in your own words; it is not the only listed approach.
Which image shapes can I choose?
Choose portrait, landscape or square framing. Those choices describe the picture's shape; check separately if you need particular pixel dimensions or a specific downloaded file type.
Is image generation unlimited on Ultimate?
No. Ultimate's unlimited allowance refers to messages. Images still have a listed token cost, so review the charge and available balance before making additional requests.
Is the DarLink image generator also a photo editor?
Generating a new picture of an existing character is different from retouching an uploaded photo. Use the character and prompt controls for a new image. Before importing an outside file, check whether the available tools support the edit you need; do not assume that face swapping or other photo transformations are included.
Does making an image also make a video?
No. Treat the still as a separate output. If you want movement later, use the video workflow and review its separate settings and token charge.
