What record-keeping concerns
18 U.S.C. 2257 and 2257A address age-verification and record-keeping requirements for certain visual depictions involving actual performers. Where applicable, these requirements concern identification, dates of birth, performer names and aliases, and the maintenance and location of records.
The applicable requirements depend on the depiction and its production. A description of an AI feature is not, by itself, a determination that a particular item is exempt from the law.
