On Darlink, you can browse a character by name or scenario, then narrow the directory by gender, style and age. The style menu includes realistic, anime, fantasy, cartoon and furry options. You can also start with your own adult fictional character and define a personality and background.
Candy AI's character builder also includes appearance, voice and personality choices. Neither platform connects you to the real person pictured in a character card: these are fictional companions. Decide which creation controls matter to you rather than treating a longer list of character names as a measure of conversation quality.

Separate chat allowance from media spending
Darlink lists Essential at $12.99 per month, Advanced at $27.99 and Ultimate at $49.99. Essential and Advanced list 6,000 and 9,000 monthly messages respectively; Ultimate lists unlimited messages. Included monthly coins are a separate line item: 100, 300 and 500 in the same order.
The generation prices listed with those plans are 2 tokens for an image and 20 for a video. Unlimited messages therefore should not be read as unlimited video generation. On Candy AI, review the current plan and token requirements in the account before paying; do not assume that a similarly named subscription includes the same media allowance.
